Collaborative Product Designer

South Hound is looking for a collaborative Product Developer!

This is an amazing opportunity to be part of a dynamic start up leading the local market for pet adventure gear.

Are you a smart problem-solver, with an eye for detail, a knowledge of technical fabrics and a love for dogs and the outdoors? We could be looking for you.

Skills:

• PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Pattern-making and Construction Refinement
• Technical Fabric experience
• Skilled at operating cutting, sewing, filling, binding machines.
• CAD generation of Developed Patterns and Size gradings
• Compiling Concept boards and formulating Design proposals
• Test Reports (burst strength, seam slippage, Colour Fastness etc.)
• Calculate Ratings for costing comparison & Price Engineering
• Drive design solutions towards Production Efficiency
